To maintain my anonymity, I decided to go with the pseudonym David, because people say I look like a David anyway.
My name is David and I'm a first year medical student going to medical school in the United States. I'm excited, because I want to use medicine to glorify God and spread the good news to my peers. I'm scared, because I know Christians are not well liked in academia, particularly in the school I'm attending, but Christ is my strength, and I have nothing to fear :)
I will be praying for greater boldness, because I've had the great opportunity of sharing the faith to several non-believers, and their reception was positive.
God is good my brothers and sisters in Christ! All the glory goes to our God!
This is not a journal of apologetics. I want this blog to be my honest journal of my daily triumphs and failures. I want it to be my heart on electronic paper, and I hope in the end, it serves to encourage any brothers and sisters out there who want to pursue medicine or a healthcare field. And if it can soften the hearts of people who aren't Christian, amen! I want to be accountable to my readers, and I hope if I'm going through a dry patch or a dark time, you could pray for me. And if I'm filled with the Spirit, I hope we can worship and pray together!
I've had many adventures, even before school starts that I'll share soon. But right now, I just want to sing!
